Science and the medical professions are making strides to explain the unexplainable but the course of our lives might always remain a mystery.

We do however know much more about Trauma and how it effects the body. Our emotional worlds are still uncharted territory in the 21st century. The human species is just beginning again after centuries of oppression of the emotional realms to get the propensity of what it means to feel.
It began with early psychologists like Freud and Carl Jung and now new research into the “autonomic nervous system” and the amount of emotional baggage or “Allostatic load” that and individual carries. This emotional baggage is not always available to us in talk therapy and much of the time can only be dealt with through the release of the body where it is being stored.

UNIFIED THERAPY

Unified Therapy is a concept created by Dr. Paul Canali that includes many different healing modalities to help in the treatment of chronic issues like PTSD, Anxiety, depression and pain. The body is very capable of healing itself when the nervous system is allowed to release unprocessed trauma. This is seen in the work of Peter Levine. I am a certified Unified Therapy Practitioner and my time studying these methodologies has been critical in my healing journey
and ability to heal others.

In a session, you will experience the symbiotic relationship , of feeling emotional pain and physical sensation. This can manifest in your body in a myriad of ways and might seem, strange, scary, and magical to you. Along with this work, different healing modalities will be applied, depending on your particular case.
