In the world of energy work and meditation, we are called on to focus on the breath. In meditation, it is also important to take deep, cleansing, diaphragmatic breaths.
If these things are not taught to you, you will forever be wondering if you are breathing correctly, or worse yet- wondering why you do not benefit from meditation when so many others do.
Many people think they just can’t meditate- they are unable to quiet their busy mind. This is not the case, we are all capable of it. It takes training and practice.
Meditation is not just for new-agers. Everyone can benefit from the practice. Clearing out the cobwebs of the mind and feeding your cells much-needed (extra) oxygen on a regular basis does wonders for the body, mind and soul. Executives are probably at the top of the groups of people who could use the benefits of meditation the most. Truly, everyone can benefit. Parents, teachers, athletes, truckers- you name it!
Jamie walks you through the process, first with how to re-train yourself on how to breathe and then with simple, manageable steps to get into a state of mind ready for meditation. Before you know it, you’ll be meditating like a champ!
